So in the past few years, 15mm scifi absolutely exploded in choices.

In between the thousands of cool mini's, aliens and hover tanks, anything you're still not quite finding?

Cyborgs (as much like the Borg as possible).

Hi Weasal, TBH, nearly everything I could ever want has been covered, however that's because if it doesn't exist, I will convert it, The last thing on my list that I would have liked ( but again I will be converting these) is a really good jungle fighter type, like catachens, but normal muscle proportions, in fatigue pants or shorts and singlets with light body armour, bear heads and soft caps.

Gunner Dunbar10 Jul 2014 11:52 p.m. PST

Actually I second the cyborgs as well.

Inner Sanctum11 Jul 2014 3:44 a.m. PST

Cyborgs, post yesterday & 15mm.co.uk.

Evil alien scientists, politicians and their assistants, plus nieces, assorted.

Tecnicians and HW crew.

Figures in sitting position.

Don't forget the turret-sitters,I have cutting figures in half.

M.Y. Miniatures who now cast the old Kremlin range do a Cyborg/Borg pack i just received a cool looking female Borg with drill arm in with my order as a sample, The Scene also do several packs of Cyborg looking figures both companies well worth having a look at. On my wish list i just want some generic rider and seated figures for my grav bikes and open top vehicles. :) Zac
Old Kremlin miniature cyborgs now produced by M.Y.miniatures, i got the 2nd along as a sample with an order:

I'd enjoy seeing more non-bobble head figures. The variety of 15mm humanoid figures already being produced is great. But the proportions are a big reason I don't purchase a lot of them.

For the alien wish list:

Hexapedal and quadrapedal races.
Centauroids
Asymetrical aliens

boy wundyr x11 Jul 2014 7:01 a.m. PST

I like the cyborgs idea too (and thanks for the link to MYM, Avamango), and centauroids, although that itch will kind of get scratched by Khurusans' Species 84.

This is sort of odd, and possibly limited to just me, but some turbaned figures for not-Zhodani civilians, irregulars, and senior officers would be cool. I suppose if they had beards they could work for near-future Sikhs too.

wminsing11 Jul 2014 7:08 a.m. PST

I really can't think of too much I think I *need* to see; the biggest one was non-humanoid aliens, but there's even been a lot progress in that direction in the last 12 months.

Mecha as well thought out as this early example, probably the first on TV

corporalpat11 Jul 2014 8:09 a.m. PST

Actually, not really. With all the old, and new companies making 15mm Sci-Fi these days it is a dream come true for an old 15mm Sci-fi gamer like me!

Creatures and monsters

Weasel11 Jul 2014 10:55 a.m. PST

Space turban troops, more non-humanoid alien monsters and some generic civilians just standing about would all be nice.

Platybeladon11 Jul 2014 11:17 a.m. PST

Unlimited supply of all of Khurasan Miniatures. No matter what the army/ruleset I could make up a great looking force.

Here is a link to more pictures of my Borgs: link

I would like to see more civilians and aliens like the first picture on this post:

I'd love a range of Dust-style Weird War II figures for a project I've been wanting to work on for ages – basically, humans in WW2-style gear with body armor. There is Eureka's Space Nazis, but that's just one force and I'd like some more choices besides, well, Nazi Germany. Some powered armor to go along with it would be nice.

I've always wanted to do a 15mm AT VOTOMS project for ages and would love more 3-4m tall mecha to use. There are a few ranges, but I'd like a variety, with weapon options for field diverse forces.

More non-humanoid aliens, of course. Those are always welcome. Actually, for the same project I want the WWW2 figures, some aliens of a roughly-matching tech level (that aren't Turtledove's Race) would be nice.

Alien civilians….

Your best bet for 1/100 Votoms is really DP9, mostly Southern gears. DP9 even sells a sprue with VOTOMS-style heads!

Theirs always the cheap Japanese trading toys especially on E-Bay if your looking for 1/100th VOTOM's, you just need to find the right E-Shop normally based in Japan and when you do they will probably have most of what your looking for, try doing a search for Takara.

@Twoball Cane is onto a winner there with a cardboard cityscape.

Golan207212 Jul 2014 3:08 a.m. PST

More free time to paint figures! :D

Other than that, I'd like to see:
- "Grey" aliens in armour (rather than naked and/or with implied force fields).
- Gecko-like aliens (preferably stealth/infiltrator types)
- High-tech grav gunships, i.e. grav-tanks designed to function more akin to helicopters due to high-tech free-flight capabilities.
- Space lizardmen riding space dinosaurs!
- Non-humanoid aliens of all sorts.

Mako1112 Jul 2014 2:37 p.m. PST

Yes.

infojunky15 Jul 2014 8:36 p.m. PST

Ok, I'll play….

Civilian Characters with Pistols. Human, Alien, the works.
The same characters in VaccSuits.

A selection of Hivers and Ithkler, heck all the races of the Traveller Universe and especially a Virushi or two, who can'l love a Space Rhino…. I Also should add wish for some K'Kree….

grommet3716 Jul 2014 1:19 p.m. PST

I have so many things to buy, build, paint and play games with and now you people come up with outstanding ideas for excellent things that could exist?

I wish I had discovered this hobby earlier.

Star Trek and Star Wars in some form. Stargate possibly.

Preferably TNG or later for Star Trek, Cardassians, Romulans, Starfleet, Klingons, and Dominion-I'd buy them all.

For Star Wars, I'd appreciate stormtroopers, snowtroopers, scout-troopers etc and rebel soldiers in Yavin, Hoth, and Endor uniforms. Imperial officers and naval troopers would also be swell.

Goa'uld and Jaffa would be nice. Plenty of minis out there already that would work for the human soldiers. Wraith as well possibly?

Twoball Cane22 Jul 2014 2:40 p.m. PST

Psst catoblepas check out astro minis….
