So this is non realistic senario

It can be as simple as american journalist is kidnapped or something or more complex bigger stuff.

It's really just an excuse for me to paint SEALs in AOR2 and not desert. Also I get to paint the Chechens and not the same Iraqi inssurgents or Taliban.

Very realistic scenario. I talked to American soldier with 2 tours in Afghanistan. There were plenty of Chechen mercenaries that fought against Americans there.

Well this would be in Chechina.

Not In afganistan.

Sure. Kidnapped journalists or aid agency workers. Sounds very plausible.

Kidnapped Hare Krishna missionaries?
Who makes 28mm Hare Krishnas?

Since that is part of the Russian Federation and they have their own robust collection of special operators, several of whom may not be tied up in the Ukraine, and the uninvited presence of US troops might technically constitute an act of war, I don't think that's a plausible scenario.

They could be Russian special forces dressed as SEALs to throw the Chechens off track….

I have not seen a Hare Krishna is like 35 years.

Thats because the Chechens stole them all.

Why Chechnya? There are plenty of Chechen refugees/militants in the Pankisi Gorge in Georgia and Navy SEALS have performed FID missions with the Georgian SF's units. Given there are tensions between Russian and Georgia over the Chechen role in the Islamic insurgency in Dagestan, I'd have though a quite reasonable scenario could be created, where the SEALS fight the Chechens.

More recently, the Chechen presence in the Ukraine could easily allow the two to meet.

It's a game, since when are most war game scenarios that realistic? Just how many armoured meeting engagements have been or will be fought? Yet they provide some of the most popular scenarios, where both players are faced with similar problems. Invent a country Dawghowsistan, invent a scenario about Chechens with a McGuffin and fast rope the SEALS in!

Well it was just to get to paint the great chechans from Red Star
