I bought some Plastic Soldier Company SdKfz 251D's and the 251D conversion kit, While the parts are very nice, the conversion instruction sheet leaves a lot to be desired. They are pretty general and downright vague on some. So my question is this. Are their any more detailed photos or drawings available of the conversions covered in the kit? The ones I am interested in are the Sd 251D/2 81mm Mortar,Sd251D/10 37mm ATG Command and the Sd 251D/16 Flam. What I want to know specifically want to know is did the mortar track have a radio setup like the Sd 251D/9 or was it setup like shown in the PSC instructions? My queston on the Sd 251D/10 is the same as that on the mortar track. Lastly on the Sd 251D/16 where the heck does the pipe and hose setup go on the Sd 251/16 Flam. is it mounted internally or externally. Wow, thats a lot but I'm confident y'all can help. Thanks and Salut y'all!

I don't have any of the PSC kits, but one thing I have often found helpful is to google images of 1:35 kits of artillery pieces, vehicles, etc. Often you will find very detailed shots of interiors, sights, elevation wheels, etc. Looking at the kits is often better (for assembly purposes) than looking at actual period photos. Also, in passing, I found these /10 details: link

Radio rearranged to left side was an internal difference of 251/9 from standard 251 layout.

Lastly on the Sd 251D/16 where the heck does the pipe and hose setup go on the Sd 251/16 Flam.

It goes on the inside. Endorse Jeff's suggestion of looking at galleries of 1/35 scale models for close-ups of interior details.
