To all AWI enthusiasts out there who watched 'Turn' on AMC, here's some interesting perspective offered by historians: spycurious.wordpress.com |

DWilliams -- thank you for posting the link; an interesting read. I wonder if anyone has given serious consideration to the financial prospects of producing a set of the "TURN" main characters in 28mm white metal? Portrait figures, like those done in 25mm by Games Workshop for the "Lord of the Rings" movies or those produced by Conquest Miniatures for the "Last of the Mohicans" movie.
Probably not, although I would like to have a 28mm version of Angus MacFadyen's portrayal of Robert Rogers to lead my Loyalist forces. I have the Dixon Miniatures version of Robert Rogers. It is nice, but at 25mm he simply doesn't have the gravitas of the more heroic 28mm figures. |

One of my gaming buddies who is a Hessian Re-enactor was in the Cabbages episode. Have a sculpt of him would be interesting. Lost Pict |

Maybe the BBC will produce a similar show that will be titled 'Turn Back' that reflects the Loyalist viewpoint. George Washington and the rebels will be portrayed as sadistic killers. |

Sadly, TV drama in the UK (certainly that broadcast by the BBC) is pretty much the sole preserve of the left-of-centre in political terms. The idea of such folk writing anything pro-British, let alone pro-British military, is nil. These are the type of folk who'd think most Democrats were fascists. |
