Yesterday evening Paul and I had another cracking game of Black Powder using the Albion Triumphant: Volume 2 supplement pitting his Prussians against my French.

Of course the newly painted regiment of Hussars and Howitzer battery were subject to the newly painted troops problem.

A fun report. Great miniatures as always.

Agreed, nice report, great looking figures.
I'm busy painting up Calpe's for our Ligney next year.

Thanks chaps. I think if we added another table or two then used both Martins and Pauls Prussians along with some of the other French forces at the club we could have a good go at doing all of Ligny.

Mighty fine looking hussars!

As to newly painted troops performing badly I absolutely agree but some of my Calpe Ulans have defied this convention

Sadly I was French and therefore on the receiving end of their fine lances!

Cheers,

Paul
