Anyone familiar with this firm, their customer service, or the products?

1/87 scale (good for 15mm?)Israeli Heavy APC kits, what's not to like?

Very nice, but not cheap

Most gamers match 1/100 models with 15mm figures. If 1/72 matches 20mm or 22mm, then 1/87 should be about 18mm.

They would probably look too big for 15mm, It is however your army and you might want to match 1/87 to 15mm and still have great games. I used to use 87th scale minitanks with earlier Airfix WW2 such as the first Germans, British battle group and Russians.

Zipyfusenet, not sure about your scaling. If " average man" is about 170cm then 1/100 scale is closer to 18 mm than 15mm. 1/87 is closer to a "true" 20 mm ( I think it's actually the HO railway scale), whereas most so-called 20 mm figures are nearer to 24mm high and equate ( roughly) to the 1/72 or 1/76 models.
Short answer to original poster-1/87 is no good for 15 mm.

Beautiful resin collectors' kits, and priced accordingly. Limited editions. Some already out of stock.

Not a wargames solution for most people.

Interesting responses, thank you folks. Seems as, if I was willing to spend the money, they'd do. I noticed that some were out of stock.

Contemporary Heavy APCs suitable for 15mm miniatures are going to continue to be elusive….. wink
