So most of us have figures from all over the place, for different periods and genres, in different scales and from different companies.

If you had to buckle down and only buy from one manufacturer, for all your gaming needs, who would it be?

(thinking just of miniatures, not rules, dice, terrain etc.)

Most of my miniatures are from Ral Partha (now called Iron Wind Metals) or RAFM. I'd go with either one.

I would probably go with WizKids since they are the best figure base for conversions, at least for 20th Cent+, and not bad (though limited selection) for before. Also, I get to keep getting "different periods and genres, in different scales" from just the one manufacturer.

Surens (willies) Staddens, RSM, Ral Partha

Foundry, if I could afford them.

Peter Pig. I love their rules which cover many different periods and they handily do some really lovely figures that go with them.

Not to bandwagon too much, but PP "sold" me on 15mm as the one true scale :)

If they were still making full sets then Zvezda.

So, either Casaer for quality or HaT for quatity. Make it HaT

Ten years ago I put on an AWI game with 25+ different manufacturers. I am sure I could add 15 more now.
So, this topic does not compute.
I would cheat. grin

John,

Put it is way, you are stranded on a deserted Island and can only have figures from one company, what company would it be?

Weasel10 Jul 2014 1:16 p.m. PST

He'd carve his own out of coconuts just to spite us :)

It's a tough call, but I'd go with Copplestone or Pulp Figures. Glad I don't have to make it.

My army lists are made directly from the Rebel Minis website. Most of the figures and genre vehicles I own are from there as well. So, Rebel Minis.
