I love and cherish my Good Trader Score more than I do my Stifle and my Ignore count combined. It is a beautiful moment for me for each time I look at that number. Beautiful, I say.

Why does the giver have to be anonymous though? Why can't that joy bringer be identified and thanked and have his own Stifle and Ignore punishment be removed by me. I'm generous that way.

Can't we celebrate the good on TMP for a change? Can't I?

Because it's as meaningless as all the other stats here. I just increased your Good Trader score and I don't even know you.

You are a lovely man…horse…deep thinker…horse! Er, you are lovely, in the Biblical sense. Thank you.

Considering that I have never sold or bought anything around here, I'm at a complete loss as to why I've got any sort of Good Trader score, but I do.

I have gotten 1. Meh. Don't care. Just something else others have to bring up? Once again another thing that has been brought up before. At least it can't go negative as far as I know.

I think people use it as a way of displaying general approbation rather than strictly for Trading.

Agreed.

I don't look at it when I decide to trade/buy on TMP, however, I am pretty sure I give everyone I trade with a Good Trader endorsement after a trade/purchase … I haven't had anyone who didn't fulfill their agreed upon obligations.

I haven't given any spuriously for other than what I take it to represent. I recognize there is no obligation for people to do that and someone with a lot of time on their hands could likely bump up their score with a score of sock puppets or a cadre of real-life friends.

That said, I don't think I would want it known who did or didn't GT. The system is amenable to perversion and corruption, however, my guess is that is unlikely and rare. Peer pressure on the order of "why didn't you GT me?" might change that dynamic …

Needless to say, my Good Trader score has now gone up two more points… :)

It's the opposite of stifles and ignores. Really, a silly system!

And a certain someone has 33 Good Trader Score credits to his name so a whopping big yakerty-boo to all his haters.

There is love out there, there is love.
