"A video releases by the Ukrainian TV channel "5th Channel" shows the modernization of BRDM-2 4x4 armoured vehicle performed by the Design and Technology Centre (TCC) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in Kiev.

The crisis with Russia has no adverse effect on the ability of the Ukrainian defence industry to perform modernization programs and launch new programs to manufacture new military equipment and armoured vehicles.

According to our first analysis of the video, this new modernized Russian-made BRDM-2 is fitted with wire cage armour mounted on each side of the vehicle which is especially designed to increase protection against anti-tank rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) attacks…"

That's considerate, a mobile climbing frame for the kids! It's surely not an anti-RPG screen, due to its close proximity to the paper-thin armour.
