Evening all. Only my second post and I hope it works! I recently came back to painting miniatures after a break of nearly a quarter of a century. Anyway, I have started putting together a collection of figures of all the antecedent regiments of the modern Rifles (my Regiment). So far I've got the Bloody 11th, 43rd, 5/60th and the 95th. still quite a way to go! Watch this space. Windy out.

Very nice. 40mm's are a joy to paint I find.

It is still somewhat difficult to get one's head around the "Bloody Eleventh" being something to do with the Rifles… but there again, such anomalies no alas abound..

Haha! Tell me about it! I was 11 years a Devon and Dorset and then we amalgamated with the RGBW, LI and the Greenjackets to form the Rifles, and we all had to learn Light Drill over night! I still can't do it properly after seven years.

I fear the referendum is the only thing that stops the Taffs being amalgamated with whatever is left in Scotland. Mind you – it might be easier just to amalgamate the remaining Scots regiment into Fiji's armed forces!
