Does anyone make seperate heads in 28mm wearing these? I'd like to do some headswaps on the Perry Desert Rat figures for Malaya c1941. Thanks Jim |

Interested in this too, for early 1942 Burma. I haven't found anything suitable as yet – my fallback option is to play about with the Perry DAK sun helmets. They're the wrong shape but with a bit of sanding down they could be close enough in a pinch and at least they'll be the same scale. |

Thrown away by the dozen
I wouldn't bother. |

It has a flatter profile than the Wolseley:
(1 Glosters, who seemed to have kept hold of theirs for a while during the retreat from Rangoon until the QM sourced floppy bush hats to replace some of them.) |

Good point about the chucking away but it would be nice to have a few figures wearing them.
They'd be great for the NWF as well
my grandad had one which I think he even wore when flying? Maybe I'll email the Perry's and see what they can come up with? |
