My internet being even way slower than usual it takes way to long to get a response from Google's servers so who can help me out here? I'm looking for an online store in Australia, New-Zealand, Asia or even the USA where I can buy 1/72 Airfix, Italeri, Heller and so on model kits to fill in the gaps in my WW2 collections. Don't want to use eBay and I know about Hannants in the UK but they can not send by registered mail to my PO box so they are not an option. Any suggestions? Cheers Fons mmps.asia |

@Fons, For online from Australia, you already have the frontline link above. For stuff currently in production most (all?) Australian retailers will process (e-)mail orders, but won't necessarily have an on-line "shop front". For OOP / harder to find items, I have successfully dealt with these guys: sherriffsminicars.com.au |

HobbyLink Japan are more than merely reliable. I have been doing business with HLJ for years now, practically since they launched their business IIRC, and I have not once had any issue with their service, their prices, or speed of delivery (and I am an inveterate spaceship model junkie). I say this as one who has done business with Squadron Mail Order since before the internet was invented. They too are a first rate service in every sense, so really you've got two (2) outstanding mail order services to choose from, and while both have an overlap in some lines, there is a great deal of unique product lines that one carries while the other does not, so you may find both are a viable source for your needs. Frontline in Newcastle are good. Link is above. They had/have a full size Ferret scout car in the shop too. |

Thank you gentlemen, you all have been a great help. I'll have a look and order as soon as my Internet is back to "normal". I only have 0.04 Mbps for some time already, takes ages to load a page if I don't get a timeout first. Gotta love Internet connections in the Philippines.. they're the slowest but the most expensive in Asia. :-) Cheers Fons mmps.asia |
