As I said on another thread here … this may work in the West's favor … hopefully being too busy with all the various factions working out their differences … usually by massive amounts of bloodshed …

The danger is if ONE religious persuasion arises strongly out of the chaos to set itself up as the "Caliphate" or similar head of political/religious power, to which the great majority of Muslims worldwide devote themselves. And such a "Muslim State" promotes jihad against all non conforming Muslims and non Muslims. If the power and land grab continues at such a point of development, it will be too late to avoid either capitulation or total war….
