Roger Gerrish and the fine folks at Wargames Illustrated put together a very informative review of Pulp Alley. Certainly worth checking out --- link

Dave,
Sorry it turned out to be wrong for me, but that is a good, on point review. You and Mila seem like great people.

I thought I would try out Pulp Alley as possible western rules. Thought they would allow me the flexibility to play it straight, or get weird and bring in anachronistic elements. Unfortunately…
I bought the PDF… Still waiting for it, just over 4 days now. Hmm… 5 unanswered emails (2 via the website, 3 to the various email addys on the paypal account) later, and I am going to seek a refund. Pretty bummed by the experience. I have bought many, many (many!) sets of rules as PDF files. Rarely have I waited more than an hour, and if I ever had a question, the authors have generally gone above and beyond answering. This is a head scratcher… First time someone in the overcrowded wargame market has truly given me the impression that they just don't care.

@ droid -- The PDF was emailed to you on July 2nd, about an hour after we received the order. It may be in your spam folder.

Dad sent you another copy of the PDF a few moments ago, along with the email that was sent to you on July 2nd.

I do apologize for the delay, its my fault, but I hope you still have fun. :)

Mister Droid – I think the failing is somewhere on your end of things.

Very nice write up, congratulations.

Droid

I'm with Rev Zoom. The problem is probably at your end as I have yet to hear of any problems with any Pulp Alley product. In fact, I believe their support for their products is outstanding.

mister droid,

My first game of "Pulp Alley" was a "western" one . . . and the rules worked splendidly for that.

Unfortunately my camera malfunctioned so I wasn't able to get any photos . . . but here is a pre-game look at my terrain:

Furthermore apparently the first "Pulp Alley" games the authors played were also "westerns" . . . so I would think that they should work well for you as well.

DAVE and MILA --

Do you sell through distributors, or to brick and mortar stores? I'm interested in your game, and I like to support my FLGS whenever I can.

Thanks in advance!

@ Doc -- Yes, Golden Distribution carries a wide range of our Pulp Alley products.

You can pass that on to your FLGS and/or they can email me directly and maybe we can help get them started.

HAVE FUN

Dave
