It looks like they put more effort into the terrain than the paintjob on the miniature.

grin That's a metal Mark V. And it's mine grin

It's been basecoated, but not finished (although to tell you the truth, I probably won't do much more than paint the treads, give it a black wash, and then drybrush).

The sanding disc has a scorched, melted look to it: clearly something generated a lot of heat.

I like the roads, and may have to look for an appropriate color for dirt tracks for my Vikings.

My laziest terrain effort was to cut lengths of green scrub pad to stand in for hedges. No base, no painting, no flocking, just a strip of green scrubber.

believe it or not a strip of green scrubber with some flock on it makes a nice looking hedge.
