Does anybody have a photo of the Baccus pack ADA2, Dacian warriors with falx? I'd love to field some Thracians in my Seleukid army but there are still no 'nice' <subjective> Hellenistic Thracians available. At 6mm scale, could I get away with using the Baccus Dacians as Thracians? Cheers! link |

Their website has some pictures of Dacians and there may be some in the customers gallery. The falxmen are wearing trousers only which would be untypical (I believe) for most Thracians of the period. A few of the javelinmen thrown in with the Thracians and peltasts from their Hellenistics ranges wouldn't hurt though. |

Yes, I've been to the website but ADA2 is not illustrated. I agree that the Bastarnai falxmen (no shirts) wouldn't work. |

An image search for 6m Dacians will bring up some relevant pics. |

I think I read that the Baccus Hellenistic Thracians with romphaia are due for resculpting, so they may be worth looking into. The old scultps were a bit too orderly (looked too much like garden variety spearmen to me). Doug |
