Awesome.

Best,

Quality of this model, make me sad i don't like Gundam aesthetics..
They are probably similar in quality and detail.

I just find them ugly ;/

Very nice! Thanks or the pictures! Love those aliens too…

War Monkey03 Jul 2014 9:10 a.m. PST

Wow now most definitely I'll have to get myself a coupe of sets of those

Sargonarhes03 Jul 2014 9:17 a.m. PST

Even I must seriously consider some. I tend to just collect Gundam mobile suits.

AWuuuu03 Jul 2014 9:17 a.m. PST

They cost me 26$ with shipping, so 13 $ per unit, but IMHO they are worth it.

Sargonarhes.. If you collect Gundams.. so really whats your excuse for not having them ? :P

You get some big gundam gun as an extra in this set :)

War Monkey03 Jul 2014 9:30 a.m. PST

Little pricey for me for just two models

Hey JBR
Any thoughts or ideas hint hint

TK 42103 Jul 2014 9:39 a.m. PST

Hey, someone put theirs together and has given a nice informative review. Very good. Also, remember that pigasuspig can get these a lot cheaper than that.

AWuuuu03 Jul 2014 9:56 a.m. PST

13-15$ per vehicle including shipping is Ok to normal price for a 15mm vehicle I have to pay.
And thats the exact price for battlefront one vehicle blisters – and they are made from resin.

Maybe if you live in US or UK you are in better situation (I am located in Poland) but while 13$ per vehicle is not cheap its IMHO OK price for this particular vehicle for sure.
And i consider second set of those.

John Treadaway03 Jul 2014 11:24 a.m. PST

$13 USD each makes them comparrable to a resin miniature vehicle of similar ize and quality, I think.

On my to-buy list.

And they are nice looking, different and useful vehicles.

(I bought a set…)

Happy Fourth of July folks!

TK 42103 Jul 2014 2:36 p.m. PST

Indeed they are. They come with extra bits that you can magnetize. I have three sets which will go to my Imperial Japanese Forces.

AWuuuu03 Jul 2014 2:59 p.m. PST

Lucky you TK

I know I want more than just those two :>

Sargonarhes03 Jul 2014 9:33 p.m. PST

I said generally just the mobile suits, there usually aren't enough models of the vehicles. Never seen a Zeon Magellan tank, occasionally you might see the Federation's tank. But once you get away from the One Year War Gundam stories general vehicles become very rare.

Mad Mecha Guy03 Jul 2014 11:35 p.m. PST

drooooool….. Must Get a couple or four.

Where did you purchase from?

Regards

MMG.

AWuuuu04 Jul 2014 3:44 a.m. PST

I'm selling these for $10 USD per box of 2 (so $5 USD/truck) plus $10 USD flat-rate international shipping. Email my username at yahoo.com if interested. Large Gundam gun not included.

Nice pictures thanks for the extra shots. I always believe that vehicles will get begger and larger in many ways, more armor, more power, bigger weapons and bigger means of moveing parts.

John Treadaway09 Jul 2014 5:14 a.m. PST

Very useful size comparrison shots: thanks AWuuuu.

So – in short – reasnable price, nice kit and good size.

It 'just' needs a resin manufacturer to do a range of drop in modules for the rear with turrets and so forth and a vast range of vehicles hove into view…

Kitbash of armed version shouldn't be too hard with some 15mm tank turret and bulky back box with rada bulb cut off.

Plastic is quite soft and easily workable with exacto knife.

Littlearmies12 Jul 2014 5:50 a.m. PST

It rather reminds me of the American Stryker APC (obviously the lack of wheels is a giveaway..) – perhaps a 1/72 model of the Stryker suitably kitbashed might be an alternative.

Mad Mecha Guy12 Jul 2014 5:58 a.m. PST

Got my box of two, now to get around to building them & possibly getting another couple or four for a bit of modding.

Regards

MMG.

AWuuuu14 Jul 2014 11:11 a.m. PST

I hope you like them :>

War Monkey15 Jul 2014 8:03 a.m. PST

broke down and ordered a set as well, waiting for them to arrive in the mail.

War Monkey16 Jul 2014 8:29 a.m. PST

HA HA guess what came in the mail today! go on take a guess, come on guess what I got.

Now I have to wait until I move in to the new house after the 1st to do anything with them :(

After the move will get another set.

TK 42116 Jul 2014 10:11 a.m. PST

♫♪War Monkey, that funky monkey…♪♫ Glad to see another exited and proud owner of these beauties. The first variant I'm building will be of course, for mech support. I want to evaluate the feasibility of providing direct battlefield support allowing for weapons changes during the course of the mission.

grommet3716 Jul 2014 11:17 a.m. PST

War Monkey: Please post pics, if and when.

TK 421: Sounds like a great idea! I want to see the AARs.

Mad Mecha Guy16 Jul 2014 1:00 p.m. PST

The variants I would like to attempt to make are:

APC – plates over back deck & changes cannon to enclosed mount.
AA- Gun/SAM – plates over the deck & scratch build a turret with couple of cannon & some missiles.
MRLS – a box launcher over back deck.
LOng range Tank hunter – mount on back deck with some Anti-tank missiles in tubes or a nice gauss rifle.

Other thing might have a go at would be to replace fan chassis with another chassis having 8 wide wheels

Got the big cannon that came with kit but think somewhat too big to use on one of these, could be giant snub nosed rocket cannon.

Regards.
