More new 15mm previews from Brigade models this week, straight from their blog the first one is a German command vehicle based on the hull of the Thor tank. It will come equipped with a radar on the rear (as in the inset 3D image).
The second model is the PacFed Dundas truck. Unfortunately I didn't have a PacFed skirt handy when photographing it, but it will use the same skirt as the Cougar tank – again, see inset 3D image to see what the final version will look like.
Both the Thor Command and Dundas will be released pretty soon. Finally, a new image of the Rhino and Wildebeest hulls, this time primed so the details are easier to see. These two models are a little further away, although the turrets and metal parts have gone for moulding so we should be able to show assembled versions soon.
The German armour just keeps getting better and better, last month we saw the Super heavy 'Woden' class series of tanks and now this cool looking mobile command center, i am very tempted putting together or i should say adding to and completing my near future German forces. |

Personally don't like the Dundas design, but definitely want some of the Rhino & Wildebeasts. Regards MMG. |

I like the grav truck better without the skirt. |

Digging the truck. Any other support variations planned? |

@Gypsycomet – what type of support vehicles are you thinking of? |

I think the Dundas looks good but not without a motive power unit of some sort. It has to be said, the PacFed forces modular construction (separate hull and grav 'skirt/plate') do just beg for a lower tech (read cheaper for backwards worlds) motive force other than grav – something to sell to the colonies! Could the grav skirts for the PacFed range (which is only two or three sizes of vehicle, as I recall) have a hover option? Or (gulp) a wheeled option with big balloon tyres for real low tech worlds? Just a thought

I am with John and Gypsy as to a hover or wheeled version. |

Of all the awesome vehicles that brigade do the pac-fed ones I will be investing in first for Hammer's (I have some scratch builds I will use initially) I really like the shape they are almost fighter like I think. not sure which I'd get for the opfor yet. |

Really like the PACfed has a very distinct look and think it looks cool for a PACFed / Sino confederation force. Something hi tech. With the new flatbed I would offer this with a couple of Hmg's with shields to give you a sci-fi hi tech version of the Buffalo LVT ( think that's right) anyway good work lads. |

And I await the remodelling of the CDSU stuff, at least my wallet is (generally) safe at present. |

Thanks, guys. How about a chassis for the Dundas that uses the new South African wheels? That way I can utilise existing parts, which is always a Good Thing . The parts for the Rhino and Wildebeest came safely out of the master mould last night, it's onto production moulds next. These included four different types of shielded pintel weapon, so Johny Boy's grav LVT (or should that be LVG?) is easily achievable. I also took the first castings of the resin hulls this morning (early, while it was still cool enough) so I'll be assembling the first complete models early next week. Nilbog – don't get complacent, I'll be inside your wallet before you realise! The CDSU are coming, and they'll be a bit more hi-tech than they are now. |

All you need is to get a hold of one and then you can go to work on finding something that will either fit or be easily modified to do so. |

I wonder how.well they'd mesh with the Rebel minis track drives or grav drives? |

"what type of support vehicles are you thinking of?" In the case of the Dundas, a covered bed comes to mind. Could be an insert. Same with an Ambulance insert. Since it's a hover "pickup truck", some backwoods resistance is going to use it as a Technical at some point, but tool boxes and service body inserts would not be amiss. The full-on silly camper shell is probably too much to ask…
And of course, enough stowage to threaten its ability to lift. link |
