If I remember correctly, it was about two weeks ago that the store was down. I thought it was going to be back up last week. Just curious if anyone's got any news concerning the storepage or what the case might be on their end. |

I guess he's been busy packing or casting and has shut the shop while he catches up with things. It isn't unusual and I am sure that, when he's ready, the store will open again. Just pop back regularly to check :) |

If you just want to browse and plan out an order, you can use the Internet Archive: link |

He's pretty busy at the moment and running a one man show and a household/job at the same time is a hectic endeavor. He'll be back up soon enough though. I'm waiting to place an order myself. |
kallman | 03 Jul 2014 6:14 a.m. PST |
Yep just use the Wayback Machine link to browse and Jon will be back soon. Odd as it may sound being a one person miniature operation is not a huge money maker and Jon more than likely does this more out of passion than for the big bucks. Normally during one of these shut downs it take Jon about two to three weeks to catch up. |

I was under the impression he outsourced the casting? |

I had 80 orders backlogged, some for over a month, and the orders just kept pouring in. Some orders take hours to pack, and when I finally would get one done (at 1am sometimes, when I had to get up at 7 to go to work), and say, "phew, that's one less in the backlog," I would open my inbox and there would be three new orders waiting to be fulfilled! I decided to close shop for a week but it turned into two, and now three, because things happened to further delay order processing, including a knee injury that needs physical therapy. But I'll have the shop opened after the 4th of July weekend. Along with that I plan to release the rest of the Kofun Japanese codes (the peasant archers and the Emishi skirmishers), the new fantasy lizardmen, and a bunch of modern/pulp/sci-fi codes: Tech Ninjas (Ninjas with some firearm backup) US Rangers in Arctic gear Western criminals/terrorists A second set of scientists, standing (including the justly famous little bald guy) I also will be releasing either the Thrainites (space dwarves), Four Nations (alien confederation), Celestial Mariners and Species 84, or the redo of the Carnivoran Hegemony -- can't decide which but I'd better make up my mind soon! Also a Government officials set (Federal senator, aide, Galaxy News reporter and reality show hostess Lileh Elizabett, her digicam guy, and her tomboy producer). AND I have a mighty new Khurasan vehicle to release! It will take your breath away! (I may also have a North Korean heavy weapons set out but that depends, let's see.) |

Yea Jon understand about the knee surgery thing completely. So take care. I will have to wait for my funds to recover post Historicon and graduate school fees before I can order more of your outstanding figures. BTW some of your minis will be showcased in the Tomorrow's War game I am running at Historicon. I will post pictures soon. I would have asked if you wanted to sponsor but figured you had your hands full. Looking forward to the new vehicles and everything else as well. |

you could also try, increasing your prices somewhat, that might result in fewer orders and also better compensation for your time. |
