Thanks for posting all those pics on your blog, Leland – that's a great collection of classic figures. Bringing back many fond memories too! I always wanted those Grenadier imperial guard but never managed to find any back in the 80's… I've never seen the Galacta stormtroopers before. They are really great sculpts – looks like they were more inspired by some of the star wars concept art than the film – I remember a great Ralph McQuarrie painting of proto-stormtroopers wielding lightsabers. I have a bunch of those Void Syntha troops – really nice figures and they look great with the terminator-style paintjob you gave them. Got some Alternive Armies Shia Khan, too – it was a pleasant surprise when I recently discovered they were still in production! |
