It's seldom I wander into the unexplored and forbidden territory of the Renaissance boards, but lo and behold here I am!

The question is really a simple one, what colours were the ships of the Spanish Armada and their English opponents?

I played a game based on the Armada in Gosport a at the NWS Naval Wargames event, and it was so good and so much fun, I'm thinking of buying a few ships from Old Glory and running it at my local club!

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks Armand! :O) I will probably need a little bit more info – it's a period I know absolutely nothing about – but you've certainly put me on the right road.
