Finished painting by New Republic French sci fi force. Used mainly pig iron militia figures. Was having a hard time what color scheme to paint that have not seen before. Then looking through WW1 book. Thought about using the French colors. Have not seen the militia painted in that scheme. And hope no one else has painted them in this color.

So another sci fi force to add to my collection.

Love those walkers, I must get some of those, and kudos for finishing such a large force combining all the necessary components for command and control.A few suggestions in my humble opinion that may possibly help.
Your paint appears to be very thick and as a result obscured some of the excellent detailing available from Pig Iron, so maybe more of a thinner coat rather than a substantial one coat? With that achieved , subtle shading and highlighting would dramatically lift those grunts into anew league all of their own and I am sure you would be delighted with the end results.
Thankyou again for sharing your passion which cannot help but motivate lazy Bleeped texts like me to get back painting properly.
