This weekend I took my toys down to Kingsclere where I had a a very enjoyable weekend of Ancient wargaming. This was the first time I'd run 3 big games in parallel; an interesting experience!

Thanks chaps! Was a whole lot of fun. The facilities at the WHC are amazing; there is tons of space, and loads of terrain. The players were an extremely affable bunch, too.

Best, Simon

How glorious, just look at all those pointy sticks. I have a 160 Pike men, which I thought was a lot. Simon it looks like you can put Phalanx's from table edge to table edge. The brush work and basing are too a very high standard also!

Thanks Oldbob, I'm very proud of my phalanx. I hope to extend it further, this winter.

BigRedBat; Can you please tell me about those few non- combatants. One is laying on a roof and 2 are sitting around a box playing a game or counting money?

LEGION 195005 Jul 2014 9:32 a.m. PST

Oldbob, I can help you. The figures are from the Foundry Caeserian Range. I also have those. Mike Adams P.S. The pack number is cr001 Romans in camp

Yes, Oldbob, wot Mike said. The guy on the towel sneaks into most of my games!

Really great looking collection of figures, nothing beats a really good game over quality terrain with great figures.
