This New Kingdom Egyptian chariot painted by Dave Woodward is a laser cut MDF kit, with metal crew and horses.

Part of the new Biblical range we're making at North Star

The chariot has been made by 4Ground.

A far change from a Mycenaean chariot I bought long ago from a company I will not name, that looked like it was made from cinder blocks. grin

A very impressive chariot. Love the basing.

That's an interesting approach …

Warlord games has a nice collection of bronze age figures, now I know where to find the adversary.

Yep, I'll need a few!

Are these cheaper than normal? Seems like chariot armies are difficult on the wallet but am collecting data to see how much this is going to set me back.

Nice. Shame I have about 32 Egyptian chariots already.

Will you be making any personality figs? I'd love a Tutmosis III in a chariot.

NickNorthStar30 Jun 2014 3:21 a.m. PST

We are doing the Chariot for £9.75 GBP. That's the equivalent of three cavalry figures from us normally.

I have a question about construction.
Do you have to bend any pieces to glue them into place?
And are the spokes on the wheels flat or round?

NickNorthStar30 Jun 2014 1:31 p.m. PST

No bending of MDF, but the front piece of the chariot is laser cut thick card that gently bends into shape. The spokes are flat.

Would good if couple of alternate crew were done as This chariot will probably not go well with likes of Foundry in same unit.
As stand alone unit…Great.
