Keep wanting to do the period in 25mm, but my budget would need that Old Glory Army support. |

Besides the Second Edition, I have seen no new 25mm figures for quite a long time. They seem to be concentrating on Blue Moon and Command Decision. It would be very nice to see a veritable plethora of new 25mm ranges, though. Maybe starting out with a Washington Crossing the Delaware set? I lost count of how many 25mm packs I have bought from OG. Way more than 100, possibly more than 300. Not sure. They are my "go to" source whenever possible. |

I don't think there's much chance Old Glory will take on a Franco-Prussian range in 25mm/28mm. Too many different troop types in the contending armies -- French, Prussian, Bavarian -- hussars, chasseurs, dragoons, uhlans, lancers, cuirassiers. zuoaves, turcos, artilleryists, high command, etc. Napoleonics is one thing -- Franco-Prussian war an entirely different matter. Unlikely to be a profitable range for Old Glory, while incurring an enormous inventory investment. Hopefully I'm wrong. |

It would have been nice if they'd done 25mm FPW. However, Old Glory hasn't. I've emailed them about it. And I've gotten no responses. I've been forces to go to Askari Miniatures, Battle Honors, Eureka Minis USA, and Wargames Foundry for my figures. There is some 25mm Old Glory that can be used for 28mm FPW. Their Sons of the Desert set have FFL figures I use in my 28mm Armee d'Afrique along with their Chassuers d'Afrique. Old Glory also has 28mm Krupp guns in their Sudan artillery range that can be used for the Germans. They're the easiest and cheapest 28mm Krupp guns to assemble. Hope that helps, Blake |
