I would love to see these in 15mm: would go with my Hauk and Harook.

These look like a great set of minis to go up against the Quar.

These rather reminded me of the Quornt from Keith Laumer's CDT universe:

Nice. Now all we need is a VIP officer version in dress regalia…evil grin

Good call, Leland! In fact, I have a batch of CP's original avian heads, and I'm converting them to look just like that, except with four arms.

The parts are: robotech trooper torsos x2 (trimmed to fit), kroot legs, arms a mix of warhammer dryad and tyrannid, with liberal greenstuff joins and accoutrements, of course.

I haven't read Laumer in nearly three decades, so I reckon it's time ot check him out again…

Ha, I somehow remember them from decades ago…

"After estivating, the Verpp moult, and then they're Qornt, of course. The Gwil become Boog, the Boog become Rheuk, the Rheuk metamorphosize into Verpp—"
"You mean Slun and Zubb—the mild-mannered naturalists—will become warmongers like Qorn?"
"Very likely; `the milder the Verpp, the wilder the Qornt,' as the old saying goes."
"What do Qornt turn into?" Retief asked.
"Hmmmm. That's a good question. So far, none have survived Qornthood."
