This is some cool stuff. I wonder what kind of figures those are.

"I've got a little side project going of Star Wars in 15mm. I'm going more for a feel for Star Wars set between Episode III and IV."

Why would you include this quote from the blog in this post? The proper etiquette is to credit the artist, Doctor Merkury, whose blog you are linking to. But this quote makes it seem like this is your work, which it is not.

No sir, I never said that's my work.
I put his words in quotes as usual when you copy the original text which explain what is going on.

You are correct that you did not say it is your work and I never asserted that you did. But you also did not say it wasn't your work in the OP. You provided a quote from the blog that uses the first-person pronoun "I" without attributing the quote to Doctor Merkury. Some could be confused and think it is your work.

I read it and am not confused.

Thanks guys, the Super Battle Droids are from the RISK boardgame, the r4 is from Gzg and I forget where I got the Jedi from, sorry.

Don't agree with you my friend Jeremy.
If you take the time to visit the Main page, you inmediatly take note that the sentence was copy from the original.
That's why I quoted it.
After so many threads and years posting here, NEVER EVER I post a thread saying that it's mine.
Well, in honor of the truth five times I post historical threads from myself (smile).
If there were a confusion, not bad intention from my part.
By the way, great job Dr. Merkury!. (smile).

This seems to be making an assumption that everyone who visits this thread will follow the link to Doctor Merkury's blog and know that you are not Doctor Merkury. Not everyone will follow the link. I know that you are not Doctor Merkury, and I'm sure most people who visit TMP on a regular basis also know that, but it is entirely possible that some people could confuse that when the quote uses a first-person pronoun without attributing the quote to the author.

I think a better way to go about introducing some of your threads would be to say something like this: I recently found some cool 15mm Star Wars stuff on Doctor Merkury's blog. Here is what he has to say about the project. "quote"

This gives credit to the artist in your OP and avoids any potential confusion without the visitor to the TMP thread needing to follow the link to the blog in order to figure out that information for themselves.
