Hi, I'm planning on starting up a force for Black Powder in 15mm (the siren call of AB). I'm doing Russians, and would like a project to build around. I've already got a few units worth of models – enough for a couple foot, a cuirassier, and battery, but they're guard models. I'm planning on having one brigade = a BP unit, so the overall force will be around Corps strength. I'd initially planned on using Lutzen as a framework, but all the Russian guard units there are listed as being incorporated into a single corps. The thing is, I'd like a little diversity in the force. Does anyone know of a battle in which guard brigades (which will be my scale "units") operated closely with normal infantry, or were combined with normal infantry in an ad-hoc Corps? Thanks, FMB |

How important are the uniforms – does it need to be set during the War of German Liberation, or the 1814 Campaign? If not, I've always been partial to the battle of Eylau. I'm at work, so I can't check the OOB though

War of German Liberation through 1814, easy to add onto lots of options. |
