2 of these Hessian made Battalion-guns were attached to the Kielmannseggesche Jaeger in 1813 . Quite some suitable asset to a company of 200 hunters I'd say! There's primary sources that state that they came into action around Hamburg, but I wouldn't be surprised if they would've been in use until the unit got disbanded for the first time in 1814.

Niels R. did the gun and was modifying the 2 hunters at the same time… Life is good.

Superb model. I love these non-mainstream productions.

Linky please, so that we can order some of these?

During the 7YW, the French had a 1 pdr "rostaing" gun assigned to some battalions, and a 4 pdr "a la suedoise" to others. Also, the Grenz units has 1 pdrs – notably at Kolin, where the goaded the Prussians into attacking prematurely on the Prussian right, which was to have been held back so Fred could move his left to outflank the Austrians. Some would say these 1 pdrs caused him to lose!

Might these be modified for either gun in the 7YW?

Thank you for the kind feedback – the item has made it into the shop: link

And the Hessen Amusette has strong design similarities with the French a la Rostaing gun. It's certainly a proper starting point for somebody with a sharp knife and some will-power.

I have a question
I'm thinking of getting the Kiemannsegges jaegers, will there be a future pack release of just jaegers, meaning without the command figures.

THanks again for the kind words.

I to be honest had no plans or releasing another pack of Jaegers. I think the Captain is some sort of collateral damage that could be used as Hanseatic or Hanoverian Light infantry officer tho.
