Would like to construct one or two 1/100th scale ships.
Can anyone help me as regards where you might find some plans?

I think you will have to be a bit more specific!

Riverine/Coastal Craft? Ocean Going? Literal "Ironclads," or simply warships of the 19th Century?

Plans are indeed hard to come by, but I'm sure you can get some good help here if you could give us all some hints!

Best Of Luck,

If you want one of the Confederate ironclads from the James River Squadron, I'd recommend the book "Capital Navy". There were a good set of line drawings in the back.

I don't know if you could build a detailed interior from them or not, but it could be a start.

Would like to construct a small southern port with a few small craft. Possibly a small Confederate ironclad and a Union warship. Have the book "Capital Navy" will have a look in the loft, drawings are good.
Can you buy naval guns in 15mm? I am sure I have seen them somewhere? Thanks for any help you can offer.

Peter Pig makes a nice Dahlgren gun. I seem to recall that Irregular and Freicorps make naval guns as well.
