My blog is at: jim-duncan.blogspot.co.uk Over the last couple of weeks I have made a couple of posts about nothing much in general. It seems to have been looked by the usual suspects but also an awful lot of time from France. Over 600 accesses in one week from France whereas a more normal 90 or so from the UK and another 90 or so from the US. I can't explain that, can anyone help? |

Do the stats tell you what sites the traffic is coming from? And is it one particular page that is getting the hits? I often get spam sites hitting my blog – usually in the hope that I will go there and pick up all kinds of interesting infections For a while I was getting hundreds of daily hits on one page from China – the only idea I had was that the blog title included the word "Whiskey" |

Nothing on the stats indicate anything unusual about the pages being looked at or the audience except for the overall number of hits. It must be a 'blogger' bogus reporting issue surely! The (French) activity has stopped for today, I will watch out for it returning. |

It could just be one of your pages ranked for a small amount of time for some reason and it got search traffic. It happens. |

I got over 100 hits one day from Egypt. Now that's a bit weird. I wouldn't be worried too much about hits from France. |

A couple of months ago I got nearly 3000 page views in 48 hours, all from Ukraine but not apparently coming from any common original source. |

Absolutely nothing unusual in the hits pattern in the last few days! |
