After the England vs Costa Rica game on Tuesday evening Nick and I pitched the Almoravids against the Christian Spanish using War and Conquest.

A battle report with orders of battle, more commentary and a bunch of photos are on the Scrivsland blog: link

I did like the commentary and photos. Great display and very impressive armies. Those movement trays are well done, gives me food for thought.

Thank you. The trays are just 2mm MDF from Warbases that I textured the edge with Punice Gel and painted Yellow Ochre with some dry-brushing.

I have been using 3mm MDF with 6mm balsa sides (upright), those on your Blog do offer a more 'artistic' alternative. I have been using the gel to texture the balsa.
