So I've been assembling plastic Perry archers and the command sprue comes with arrows stuck in the ground. They'd make nice ammunition markers, if I had a bunch more of them
. does anyone make anything similar? I'm trying to not to sign up for too much scratchbuilding these days (short on time)

I just use some of those headless craft matchsticks cut in half. |

The company who posted witches today has them. From a few years experience as a combat archer, each carried 24, 3 minutes shooting, 8 arrows a minite is defined by resupply rather than potential shooting speed. It's hard work, pacing helps deliver accuracy and cosistancy. |

I use the sacks of arrows from Front Rank. In their medieval equipment range. AQ78. I use them as markers for volley fire ammo. Chris |

OK -- decision made. Instead of lots of separate marker tokens, I'm going to go with a pile of FR sacks and chests, on the "Warbases" casualty counters
only it'll count ammunition down for the unit instead of casualties up. |

You could cut off some of the arrows of metal figures (Perry Agincourt to Orleans Archer codes would work brilliantly) and base them on a small coin? The Archers can then be converted, just add the arrows from the plastic Perry WoR box set to their respective belts. I've done a couple of conversions- should give you some idea of what I mean: 'Archer' with plastic bow and metal arrows in ground added
