Probably one of the best blogs on the net, but no activity for over 2 months. Giles, hope you're okay mate? Please come back soon as I'm sure I'm not alone in missing your blog updates, beautifully painted miniatures and expansive unit information. Mark S. (one of your Melbourne connections) |

Giles was an habitué on WD3 before the last bust-up. He often posted his latest efforts at painting there. A master painter. |

Don't worry folks. He's about. Just a bit busy at the moment. |

Mark, yes he's still on a couple of the forums, but has his hands full. cheers John |

Giles is fine. I heard from him a day or so ago. He has two young sons now, and hobby time has taken a backseat to real life. Happens to everyone who has children. |

I'm sorry – life's been a bit hectic of late and whenever I start drafting a post something else rears its head and I get sidetracked. I had a serious loss of mojo earlier in the year, as well. That's not really an excuse, and it's also very silly as I now have a backlog of stuff to write about. You know what? I'll post today on some of Bill's lovely King's Mountain Minatures. Mark – you're more than a connection, you're an official "chum"! Not quite sure when we'll be back in Melbourne, but due to recent events we'll probably be back that way sooner and more regularly than we'd anticipated. Hopefully next time I won't lose my voice! Hope you're doing well. Giles |

Hi Giles! Remember to make a detour west next time you're in Melbourne. |

Don't do it! Remember that frightful antipodean oaf with a name similar to mine?! He lives somewhere around there

Giles, its fantastic to have you back
. :-) Real life coupled with a loss of mojo is a familiar story for all of us, but very much to your credit for bouncing back. FWIW I've personally found that a period of malaise is followed by lengthy bout of productivity, so hope this is the case for you.. Especially hoping for some inspiration on the Waterloo & Carlist Wars fronts! Hopefully a return trip to Melbourne will eventuate very soon as I'm sure between JB & I we can co-ordinbate a couple of pretty spectacular games. I'm humbled to be a chum and feel very much the same and voice or not, you're always a very welcome guest at mine. Keep up your great and very inspiring work. Mark PS Thanks JB and everyone else for your encouragement. |

It was a great blog but sadly it seems to run it's course. Naturally life changes , family , work etc. It was an inspiration. |
