I have a copy of this campaign for Close Action. I am hoping someone else has a copy *with the map* which I don't have. If you do, I'd like to arrange to get a scan of the map. I've tried contacting the author but I don't have a valid email address for him. Any help appreciated! |

I can't help you with the maps, but the author is quite active on the Yahoo group for the game. I bet you could get in contact with him there. Keep meaning to learn those rules! |

The rules are great and really quite simple in spite of being complete. I'll look for the yahoo group. |

Found the group and sure enough it is active. Registered to join. Looking at the postings it looks like he is redoing Free Trade and Sailors Rights which is really exciting. It's a great game if you have a club. |

My ambition (eventually
.) is to be able to learn the rules well enough to introduce to the club, as I think a set of rules complex enough for management of a single ship to be interesting will appeal to some of the guys. Also supposedly it does not slow down by introducing more players, since movement and firing is simultaneous. This is not a genre that is popular at my club, so I am still trying to find the right rule set that will catch on there. |
