Hi Armand An interesting book that, and a rather handsome edition as well. I've also reviewed it, on Amazon UK: link Rather like Talty's intriguing book on the effects of typhus on the Russia 1812 campaign, this is an isolated offering on a subject which, whilst very central to the era, is rarely written about. Fascinating, thought-provoking, and certainly well worth reading. |
