Diecon was, as usual, a very nice experience. Jon runs one of the most welcoming regional wargame conventions anyone could hope to attend. He had some nice vendors and a large number of games. Everything from cards, to miniatures to board games. I reran the same scenario I had presented at Origins, three days of The Hive and the Flame. Interestingly enough the results were very similar. The Bug players again tried to push against the main strength of the human defenders and those soldiers (Indians workers, Colombian troops and various forces from the Great powers) fought a dogged delaying action, surrendering every foot of ground only after making the bugs pay ichor for it. hivequeenandcountry.com/home Terry |

I'll be running this at least one more time at Dragoncon in Atlanta at the end of summer. It will be interesting to see if anyone reads the AAR and comes up with a different tactical plan for the bugs! Terry |
