I am looking for options for 15mm French Foreign Legion, late 19th/early 20th century.
Most ranges I know (Minifigs, Stone Mountain) offer legionaries in greatcoat, the "Beau Geste" look so to speak. I'd rather go for figures without greatcoat -- OK, maybe I am looking more for an early 20th century look, in tunic, tighter pants and puttees.
One example would the miniatures I found on this blog:

They are described as Minifigs, but on the website of Miniature Figurines FFL are shown in greatcoat and with a backpack, which is not on the minis of the blog. I am confused.

Suggestions?

Blue Moon has a nice line of "15/18mm" Foreign Legion figures that you might want to look at. I *think* they're in tunic rather than greatcoat. They're nice looking minis as are their Arab adversaries.

Here is another alternative…French colonial troops in sun helmet:

Some brilliant figures on that site.

As Ragbones says, the Blue Moon range has both troops in fatigue dress and greatcoats in separate packs.
