Nice repaints. I especially like the blue on the Camarasaurus. And that's a 40mm figure in the photos, to give you a better sense of their size. |

These are very nice! When you say "repaint," do you mean you are painting over plastic toys that came in garish factory colors? If so, I have done this, but didn't know there was a word for it. The figures themselves are great, would lend themselves very well to such a makeover. I can't afford metal dinos myself so almost always go with toys from the better stores. |

Yep- I paint over the factory paint job. I start with a basecoat of Army Painter primer (which will NOT dry tacky as do most primers on vinyl plastic,) followed by a layer of Testors Flat Black to give it a matte finish. Then paint -- or REpaint :) |

Thanks for the tips! I have wondered why my primed vinyl plastic was so darn sticky, even after painting and clear-coating. |
