Hey guys, was curious about the 1860s cost of various weapons. I know small arms and rifles went from $10 USD-$35 depending on what it was, quality, etc. I was curious about other common items like field arty and the ironclads. Anyone know anything about this?

Thanks

At the bottom of the page you'll find links to info for other artillery pieces.

Regular Wikipedia occasionally has info WRT cost of ironclads. Obviously there was quite a range.

The cost of every ship in the Union Navy and some of the Confederate navy is listed in the "Official Records of the Union and Confederate Navies in the War of the Rebellion", Series II, Volume 1. It also lists repair costs and however much the Government got when they sold them.
