what rules do you recommend that have auto movement for the zombies and you can play solo or with 2+ plus players, each person playing a group of survivors??? please not two hour wargames as i don't care for their rules. no, i don't want to have an argument about that either. 15mm i think, as it's smaller and there are so many nice models for it

I played one game a while ago and really liked it. I think the book is fun, as is the character design and zombies, along with the campaign. |

thanks
.is it very involved or can you just sit and play??? |

thanks
.is it very involved or can you just sit and play??? I don't have the book with me, but I don't recall it being overly involved. Maybe 10 – 20 minutes designing a character? I forget how it handles non-campaign games though. I'll take a look when I get home. |

Dead Walk Again Its free. easy to learn and the zombies can see, hear and smell you. only uses D6 for every roll. PDF link |

thank you Mr and Ravenscraft. Mr i don't think i want to spend 20 minutes designing a character. i think maybe dead walk again may be more what i have in mind. have the 40 khurasan zombies and thir two sets of survivors and the elite guys in body armor, is that enough ravens? |

PDF link These are very easy and a lot of fun. Designed for 28mm so you'd need to adjust ranges. |

40 zeds is plent
they recycle. the writers suggest no more than 5 zeds per living at startup. so you're good for 8 characters. I like these rules alot for multiplayer games. after a few turns there is no longer any need for a gm/referee. the price is certainly right =) |
Heinz Good Aryan | 23 Jun 2014 2:02 p.m. PST |
do you need a gm/ref to start? |

Zombie-a-go-go. It was designed with coop play in mind. I haven't had a chance to play it out though. 8) |

Heinz, A ref is not needed at all. Usually, Im the only one at the table who knows the rules but by the end of the game, everyone kniws them. They are very quick to learn. |

Dead Walk Again rules do look good, but I promise you, you'll have a blast with Akula's rules. I've run them at several cons and every time we run them at the local store, lots of players jump in and even skip their league games. The rules run the Zeds quite well and all players help move them. But it definitely is a convention type game. Please post how you get on with DWA

If I had to suggest a set of rules (following your specification of what not to suggest!), which seems to meet your need of a quick, simple and fun zombie game, I'd suggest Zombie Dawn (part of the USEME series by 15mm.co.uk) You can read all about it on their website, and they sell a PDF copy also: link |
