Actually, Flashcove, the full wax or shave has come in and out of fashion repeatedly throughout history, in many cultures. It was standard practice throughout much of classical antiquity and in periods in Imperial Rome, while many mesoamericans practised it – men and women alike. So for most of these vignettes it's perfectly appropriate. I just wish they were in 28mm; do we really need more scales? |
