I found this at a local flea market. I know ZERO about WH. So what have I got here.

About 70 metal figures, well over 200 plastic, hundreds of metal and plastic parts and those vehicles. And a 1992 rule book

I've got better pix (close ups) but I didn't want to take up all that room here.

So, what's it worth? Or is it a box of junk?

I'd say at least $150 USD if you part it out by type.

I'm amazed that people will pay $$$ for that stuff and treat it like that! It happens all the time.

That blue tub resembled one of the kids at the old clubs army. Seriously.

The sad thing is I know what you have from the photos! But I'm in St. Louis, MO. So I wouldn't be able to directly help you out. Looks like a mixture of Ork dreadnoughts, Chaos, Tau, and Tyranids.

Find someone who could help you sort of out the pieces. Once you've got everything sorted out, you can then sell them individually.

Hope that helps,
Blake

Some Eldar stuff there too – you can see Warp Spiders in the first image, and a mostly painted but turretless Falcon in the last. Might be some Inquisitorial models and maybe Sisters of Battle in the first image toward the bottom, but the angle's bad so it's hard to tell.

The Ork walkers are more likely Killer Kans than dreads, they look to be 2-arm designs rather than 4.

Not a bad haul – should be at least 5 Chaos Terminators in there judging by the shoulder spikes. I love to buy lots like this as you never know what you might find.

thabear22 Jun 2014 4:57 a.m. PST

There is definitely some "Escher " in there in the top photo, if it looks like a female street walker carrying a gun of some description then its an Escher Ganger for Necromunda, quite a popular faction for players of the game

cheers Tom

There is also a ton of parts to the vehicles and a couple of close up on the metal figures.

Yup a total mish-mash of figures that were not treated if the respect that they deserved.

I see Chaos Marines and Demons

Eldar Warp Spiders

Yup you have a good possibly up to 10 or more "Escher" gang models.

picture

Plus Ork, Tau & Nids.

Those vehicle models have seen better days and some of the missing parts are in that blue tub.

Though not sure if they can be brought back to fighting form.

But could be modeled to be destroyed vehicles and used as terrain.

But depending on just how bad is the stuff in the blue tub is you could have $150 USD-$200+ worth of stuff.

Though I would strip all of the paint off first.

Chef Lackey Rich Fezian22 Jun 2014 9:13 a.m. PST

Definitely Sisters of Battle in that odd blue-with-pink cloaks scheme. Looks like half a dozen of the old metal Flamers of Tzeentch (ie the squirmy things with lamprey mouths all over them) although you'll need to find their arms. If you've actually got 10 Escher (I can see about 4 of them) that's close to $150 USD by themselves, Necromunda figs go for crazy money.

Mardaddy22 Jun 2014 10:00 a.m. PST

Yep, DEFINITELY strip the metal pieces at least.

And although you may be missing some minor pieces, if you have the time, it would be worth it for maximum $$$ to get some of the missing major parts for those vehicles. It looks like some of the missing weapons for them and the "engines" for the Tau ones are in the bin, but "turretless" vehicles go for FAR less than "more-or-less complete" ones.

First pic on far right hand side – Flamers of Tzeentch with no arms… they might be in the tub. And looks like you have at least 11x Sisters of Battle there, and I see an IG Cadian w/Meltagun & Cadian w/Plasmagun, verified Killa Kans, the missing arms or weapons, again – maybe in the tub.

Lion in the Stars22 Jun 2014 10:47 a.m. PST

If you strip all the metal, you can definitely salvage a lot of stuff out of that. Old metal Chaos Termies and Eldar Warp Spiders are classics.

I'd try to sort the plastic stuff, too, as I'm seeing Tau devilfish/hammerheads in there along with tyranids. IMO, the only way to play 'Nids is to buy all the little stuff secondhand.

OldGrenadier Fezian22 Jun 2014 10:48 a.m. PST

I think you just funded your IRA.

CPBelt22 Jun 2014 1:17 p.m. PST

The big question I have, is what did you pay for the tub o' stuff?

ordinarybass22 Jun 2014 8:05 p.m. PST

As others have said, you definitely made a good deal. If you take the time to piece together what you've got, you'll easily make a few hundred dollars, perhaps more. It's not going to be easy (just piecing the chaos terms will be a pain), but it's worth it. As others have said, it's worth it to strip the metals, but if you're just going to resell, I wouldn't bother stripping the plastic items.

I'm not in the area, or I'd come over to help you out. Based on your earlier post it sounds like you just want to flip the stuff. If no one is able to come by and help you sort, and you'd be willing to ship it, I'd be willing to organize, strip and sell it for a percentage. Shoot me a PM tomorrow (when my membership re-up takes effect) if you're interested.

nevinsrip22 Jun 2014 11:39 p.m. PST

Thanks for the offer, but it has already been spoken for. Thanks to all who help ID some of this stuff.

I think this would have made a good thread…..What was your best flea market find. Maybe I'll do that.

ordinarybass23 Jun 2014 5:02 a.m. PST

Glad you found someone. Best of luck with the deal!

Mithmee23 Jun 2014 8:07 a.m. PST

The guy with the little bit of red paint on his hat in the last picture is a Necromunda Bounty Hunter.

He alone is worth $15 USD-$20+

Would be interesting to see what else is buried in that 3-4 inches of stuff in the tub.

AWuuuu10 Jul 2014 2:55 p.m. PST

Nope, Guy you mention is Inquisitor from Witchhunter set (i saw here at least 2 henchmen from this set).
