I put together a few fields with crops for use in my 15mm games as well as some Future War Commander games. I have posted a quick tutorial on my blog. gamingandshooting.blogspot.com |

Superb work and a great idea! Crops have been a staple of the reason for colonizing worlds – plants that create substances impossible/difficult/expensive to synthesize*, such as biological crystals for computers as in H Beam Piper's story "Oomphel In The Sky" where the indigenous population riots and threatens the harvest. Great to be able to represent it on the table :) * Yes, less likely with nanotech – but nanotech has it's limits, and there are always those who prefer the "natural" item. |
