I've been squirreling away 1/72 stuff over the years, and I've finally painted some – a British infantry platoon. I'm pleased with the way these have turned out because they are my first foray into the scale since I was a kid

They came out very nice. The size difference is not noticeable in the group shots. |

Thanks. So long as you stay with only a couple of mm in size difference, the individual basing hides the difference. |

I've painted the chaps in trousers from the Revell Scottish 8th Army in NW Europe colours and they look good enough for me and add a little variety to the troops. I like the Revell figs in the MK III helmet as they are the only plastics that have this. Nice paint job on your figs and thanks for posting. |

Thanks. Another thing about the Revell British that I forgot to mention is that some are in the leather jerkin, which makes the figures very useful if you want a bit of variety. The Caesar British Infantry set has a Scottish officer. |

Nice Figures Hrldplmr, and good to see you based them on the Somerset Light Infantry, as a Ex-Light Infantryman.."good on ya" I have two companies of British Light Infantry in 1/72 scale based on the Durham LI and the Kings own Yorkshire LI. |

I've just finished a German infantry platoon to oppose my Brits, and I'm happy with the way they turned out too… link |
