We played an AWI battle using Black Powder rules at Your Hobby Place last week.

Here's the AAR:

That is a fine looking collection!

I especially liked the column of British grenadiers on the march.

Thanks for sharing your report. Your game and figures look great.

My family lived in Delaware during the Bicentennial. I was in junior high school at the time, and that was when I got interested in the American Revolution myself. At school, they made sure we knew about the battle of Cooch's Bridge!

You wouldn't happen to have an OOB for this battle, would you? I have the Novak books, but the info there about Cooch's Bridge is sketchy.

Well, that was certainly disconcerting. I'm expecting AWI and the first thing I see is men in tanks! Nice. Two questions – scale and make of figures? And did you buy or make the roads? If latter, process of making the roads? Okay, three questions then.

Razor7823 Jun 2014 7:04 a.m. PST

The scale is 28mm with mostly Perry and Old Glory figs with a few from other manufacturers thrown in here and there. The roads are the rubber latex one made by JR miniatures currently OOP but rumor has it they may be back on the market soon).

As for the OOB, I don't have it, but our gaming group is meeting again tonight to play and I'll ask for it from the guy who does.

Oh and sorry about the Tanks, I have random header pics for my site so you never know what you're gonna get! All of my AWI stuff can be found on the Black Powder page (just click on it at the top of the page)
