Just done a post on the M3 75mm GMC and the M15 and M16 halftracks. I have also included a comparison of different manufacturers with some other models – all different versions but it gives a good idea how much the scale varies by manufacturer. link Steve |

Steve, who would you recommend for 10/12mm figures to be added as drivers or compartment crews for 1/144th scale vehicles (US, German, British, and Soviet), with a high probability of fitting into the confines of the model vehicle compartments out there, and continued availability of the miniatures? (CGD probably for German crews?) |

My favorite figures are Pithead. They come with the open hatches attached so can just be stuck on top. Only Russians at the moment. I will do a post showing the current range. He has the others in the pipeline but doesn't sell enough to make it worth while – perhaps if I generate the interest he might? Other than that I use Arrowhead. Often need to drill out to put them in and need to come up with something to use as the hatch – although a lot of the newer arrowhead tanks are being doing with hatches than can be made open. I would definitely not use CDG or the plastic Takara crew figures – I prefer metal and the better detail Steve |

Steve, that'll be a good topic – I'll keep an eye out for it. |
