Lovely stuff. Pint of bitter and a packet of pork scratchings, please.

Good one. Bring it up here to counter the pubs shutting like mad.

Seriously I like your painting style.

Thanks for sharing

I'm off to the local luv. Back in time for tea.

Very nice, but shouldn't it have an externally mounted sign and a picture of a Black Bull?

(Like all pubs had signs of their name for the illiterate – just look at the Prancing Pony or any other)

Dagwood22 Jun 2014 11:12 a.m. PST

Plus the sign outside like the one I saw on an old episode of Foyle's War last night, very common in WW2 I believe:-

Pub closed – No Beer – No Spirits

pub sign will feature…cheers

Seems awfully clean, unless it's supposed to be a brand-new building. Otherwise, great. Much better than I could do!

mashrewba23 Jun 2014 9:51 a.m. PST

That bloke should be smoking inside…

What sellection of bitters, stouts and whisky does it have?

bgbboogie23 Jun 2014 9:49 p.m. PST

It would have been funny if this had been the Kings Head, the Staffordshire regiment was formed at the pub, in 1705 and as their facing were black was this from the colour of the stout??
