A number of years ago they found the Alabama off Cherbour, there was discussion on bring her up. I think I remember an argument braking out about how owned her(UK,USA and France). I have see nothing since. There is a sea shanty "Roll Alabama roll" Built in the yards of Jonathon Laird, Liverpool fitted her with guns and men. Scousers being pirates, there's sum think new hay. |
