Amazing how much is discovered while looking for something else. She starts out looking for a better tire and ends up saving massed numbers of people around the world. Why this woman was not more celebrated. Nat'l Medal of Tech aside, she should have received something more..dunno..something with more oomph. Scientists like her just don't come along as often as they used to. Thanks for posting this!
